2. Information we collect
- Account information: your name and email address when you register.
- Body measurements: the measurement sets you enter to generate patterns. These are stored in your account and are never shared with third parties.
- Payment information: processed entirely by Stripe. We do not store card numbers or payment details on our servers.
- Usage data: basic server logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used for security and debugging.
3. How we use your information
- To provide the pattern generation service and maintain your account.
- To send transactional emails (welcome, purchase confirmation) via Mailgun.
- To process payments and manage your access tier via Stripe.
- To improve the service and diagnose technical issues.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising.
4. Third-party services
- Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Mailgun — transactional email delivery. Subject to Mailgun's Privacy Policy.
5. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Generated pattern PDFs are stored for download and may be deleted periodically. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
6. Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and hashed passwords. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data by contacting us at james@historical-tailoring.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the site. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
